Certifying copies of original documentsWe certify copies of documents intended for use in Australia and some Commonwealth countries. We indicate your photocopy is a copy with the words "This is a true copy of the document presented to me", our title, full name, address, contact number, date, and sign the document. We only certify original documents.

Certifying photographsWe can certify that your photograph is of you. The photograph must be for use in Australia or some Commonwealth countries. If it's for local use, you may need to find a local authority to certify it. Once we confirm you are the person in the picture and sight your valid photo identification, we'll certify that the photograph is "a true likeness of [your name]".

Witnessing of affidavits, and administering oaths and affirmationsWe can administer the oath or affirmation on an Australian affidavit. Your lawyer must provide clear instructions as to what they need in and on the affidavit.

Witnessing signatures for Australian wills and powers of attorneyWe witness signatures on wills and powers of attorney. We do not draw up legal documents, or guarantee the legal effectiveness of documents we witness.

For those unable to visit in person, the issuing of certified copies can also be done via postal mail. Please send your document original(s) and the fee in yen cash by Registered Mail for Sending Money (Genkin Kakitome), enclosing a pre-stamped self-addressed return envelope and a cover note setting out your requirements. Please include a contact telephone number and email address. Processing time is 1-2 working days.Need assistance?
